See The Sky About To Rain
From my Vast Lands Collection.
I often travel and go camping (in a tent!) in near-North and Northern Ontario. The landscape is rugged and awe inspiring. This painting is from a trip I took to Grundy Lake Provincial Park where there is a beautiful hiking trail around Gut Lake. The weather in this area can change suddenly from sunny and calm to rainy and windy. This piece is inspired by that feeling. Want to know a secret? It's actually a painting over a painting where I've left the original painting peeking through.
