Can you feel the wind on your face, tousling your hair?
I love to watch the way the wind blows the water into shore and then back out again.
It's like the water is breathing.
In and out.
Inhale, exhale.
When was the last time you took a moment to feel your breath?
Oil, 16x20 on gallery edge canvas
Place: Pukaskwa National Park, Ontario
Shipping EXTRA & will be invoiced separately

This painting tells the story of my Indigenous heritage.
My people originated from the Lake Superior area and eventually settled on Rice Lake. When I travelled for those two weeks in Northern Ontario, I had an immediate sense of coming home despite never having been there. That is why I say that my spirit lives here. And I titled this piece "I Envy The Winds" because if I could ride on the breeze then I would be able to visit this place any time that I wanted.
